Curve Digital and Sold Out announce retail partnership

07 Feb 2018
We are happy to announce that today we will be forming a partnership with industry heavyweights Sold Out to bring our titles to retail worldwide, starting with the release of Bomber Crew on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

This agreement – which will begin in Q2 2018 – also includes a simultaneous box release with the digital launch of  A Knight’s Quest, an Unreal Engine-powered 3D adventure from Sky 9 Games in Toronto. Other titles are due to be announced in due course.

Bomber Crew was an instant smash on its original PC launch, recouping its total costs in two days and grossing over $1m in just over a week. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases will come with additional DLC, bringing fresh challenges to the World War 2 strategy game.

A Knight’s Quest pays homage to the classic 3D adventure games of the past and puts players in the shoes of Rusty, a reluctant hero who sets out to save the world, after accidentally endangering it. Rusty must explore the enormous game world - packed full of dungeons, side quests and secrets to discover – to defeat the evil spirit he released into the world after a mishap with a magical vase.

“We’re really excited about bringing our digital releases into the real world,” says Jason Perkins, managing director, Curve Digital. “Whilst we’ve dabbled with small quantities here and there, our partnership with Sold Out means we can begin to establish a permanent presence, bringing our games to a broader audience. Whilst we’re only confirming two titles here today, we expect to announce further titles soon.”

“Curve Digital really is on fire at the moment, so we’re overjoyed to welcome them to the Sold Out family,” adds Garry Williams, managing director, Sold Out. “We’re committed to continuing to raise our game over the coming years, so we’re delighted to be growing our portfolio with some additional Curve games to come.”
