Tomas Sakalauskas’s brilliant open-ended physics-based puzzle game ‘Human: Fall Flat’ was the big winner at the Lithuanian Association of Game Developers’ annual awards ceremony this weekend, winning Game of the Year at the GameOn Expo in Vilnius, Lithuania.
“It’s a real honour to be acknowledged by my fellow countrymen,” says Tomas, who single-handedly created Human: Fall Flat. “The game has been a labour of love for the past few years and I’m delighted to see it bringing as much joy to its players as it has to me during development. With the first public release of the online multiplayer mode last week, it’s been a great few days for the game. Long may its journey continue.”
“Huge, huge congratulations to Tomas,” adds Jason Perkins, managing director, Curve Digital, publisher of the game. “We’ve always recognised its brilliance here at Curve – it’s great to see others doing the same.”
Human: Fall Flat is available now on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will be coming to Nintendo Switch soon.
